EC CHM presentation at COP5

<br><font size="1">Brussels, 16 May 2000</font><br> <br> The European Commission will present theweb site of the EC CHM to the participants of the Fifth Conference of the Parties in Nairobi, Kenya. The conference brings together the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity and includes an agenda item on Clearing-House Mechanisms.<br> <br> The presentation will be held by DG Environment Officer Carlos Martin-Novella with technical assistance of Graham Drucker (ECNC) during a lunchtime workshop on Friday, 19 May 2000. The meeting will take place in the conference venue in the UN Conference Hall in Gilgiri, Nairobi, and is open to all interested in the subject. The exact timing is 12:30 to 13:30 local time. Leaflets and posters will be available to the audience.</font>
