Story London meeting on "2010 - The Global Biodiversity Challenge" with UNEP-WCMC and UNDP

The international biodiversity world looks towards the year 2010 as a year of reckoning. By then a significant reduction or even a halt in the loss of biodiversity should be achieved. But will it ? - CBD in collaboration with several other bodies held a meeting in London 21-23 May with more than 120 participants. The outcome should be used for the SBSTTA9 meeting in November 2003 and concern how to go about measuring the achievements, using a limited number of indicators (10) and 3 snapshots in time (1992, 2002, 2010).
